How do we get started?
We make it as easy as possible. First, we have a chat about what it is you want to achieve. We can tailor a solution to your liking. If it’s a web site, we plan together how it’s going to look. If necessary we can help with setting up hosting and even securing domain names. Then we set about constructing it. If it’s a video, we will sit down with you and plan the content, and can storyboard the flow.
How much do you cost?
Please see our pricing page for some standard package costs. If you’re wanting something different, please get in touch. We can come up with a solution tailored to the size of your project and what you want to achieve. For simpler videos the price may be less. Have a special requirement? Let’s chat. Prices in Australian Dollars.
How do you deliver the finished product?
For web sites, we like to have access to the site back-end to set everything up, test and go-live. If you don’t already have hosting, we can make suggestions and set it up for you.
For video, we can supply the video in various formats – MP4, WMV, MOV, etc. We can upload to your site or your YouTube or Vimeo channel. We can deliver on a USB stick, memory card or DVD.
Where can we shoot?
This really depends on the nature of the video. We can shoot at your business, outdoors, or in a studio including in front of a green screen if necessary so we can drop in backgrounds and other details later.
How long will it take?
It depends on the nature of the assignment. In general, for shooting a video business card, expect to have several takes and so an hour for shooting is advisable. For a business promotional video expect it to take at least two hours. For filming an event it will obviously take at least as long as the event itself.
How long does post-production take?
It all depends on the nature of the assignment. We can complete a video business card in about an hour after shooting. Depending on the complexities and length, a promotional video could take from a day to several days to edit and complete; similarly for an event.
How do you create web sites?
We pick the tool for the job, but mostly these days we use WordPress. It is quick, secure, has many great themes, a plug-in for just about any function you could imagine, and it gives you, the owner, freedom to make changes to your site almost as easily as using a word processor. This means you’re not always coming back to the developer to get simple things done. That’s a cost you don’t need.
